- I used the software Everyday Auto Backup for periodic automatic back up of my files
- it can be used to a network drive or external hard drive
- here it is, the "HOW TO"
Requirements:
1. Network drive mapped to file server
2. Everyday Auto Backup software

Procedures (use Jeilyn PC as example):
1. Double click the network drive (Z: drive in this example) located at My Computer, encircled below
2. Create new folder entitled jeilyn_pc_backup (the title is depend on the user)
3. Double click eab_setup.exe
4. Click Next
5. Click Next
6. Click Next
7. Click Next
8. Click Install
9. Click Finish
10. Click No
11. Click Add
12. Fill out the Project name field (I used autobackup in this example) then click Browse next to Source directory field.
13. Select the files you want to back up, I chose My Documents in this example.
14. The Source directory will be filled out, then click Browse next to Destination directory field.
15. Locate the folder jeilyn_pc_backup you created in step no. 2 under Z: drive.
16. The Destination directory field will be filled out. Ensure that Include subdirectories and Check file time.. are selected.
- decide how you want to schedule the automatic back up.
- select Daily/Hourly/Week… in schedule column .
- In Start backup, select After startup or At this time.
- If At this time would be selected, 1pm should be entered as 13:00, 2pm as 14:00 and so on.
17. At this time, the autobackup profile has been created. You can create more profile by clicking the Add button.
18. Click the Backup Now button to backup your data immediately
19. Click Yes
20. It will jump to Today’s tasks tab saying that the Backup was finished. Click Projects tab button to return to previous window.
21. Click the minimize button, not the close button
22. The icon below which will also present in your PC is a sign that the autobackup software has been running. The software will be loaded every Windows startup.
23. Below notification will be prompted after successful scheduled backup.
